Many students had the opportunity to meet Suzanne at the Classical Singer
Convention last year in San Francisco where she presented YogaSing, Yogafor Singers and Performers.
In this one and a half hour workshop, Suzanne
will offer you techniques for becoming your best on stage, during rehearsals, at home, and at play.
The Art of Wellness is based on her knowledge as a
yoga teacher and from years performing with the Washington National Opera.
Many students express a feeling of energized calm after working the YogaSing
techniques which include stretches to open the body,
breath work, stress relief, and centering exercises.
Come learn how to bring the entire body into your performance!

Biography
Suzanne specializes in teaching young singers how to incorporate yoga techniques
into their art form and is on the faculty of Wolf Trap Filene Young Artist Program
and Opera Delaware’s Artist Workshop. She has also served on the faculty of The
Washington National Opera’s Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program and Summer
Institute for Young Singers.
Suzanne holds a master’s degree in voice from the
University of Maryland and for 15 years she performed as a resident singer with the
Washington National Opera. Currently she is on the roster of the Baltimore Opera
and is the Director of the Awakening Arts and Yoga Center.
