The YogaSing program is a revolutionary approach to the ancient art of yoga. As a professional singer myself, I designed YogaSing specifically for singers, performers, and public speakers. From the first yoga class I attended, I knew that yoga would play an important part in my life and performing career and I wanted to share this newfound knowledge with others. By combining my skills as a singer and yoga instructor, I created a series of gentle, invigorating poses to tone and strengthen each muscle group, increase flexibility and lung capacity, and enhance the mind/body connection. Many students have shared that YogaSing provided an added dimension to their performing careers by creating a new awareness of body, mind and spirit. Whatever the goal, YogaSing will provide a platform for reaching higher in your art form, and enhance your personal well being.

YOGA ROUTINE
A yoga routine designed specifically for the performing artist. This combination of yoga poses energizes and stretches the body while enhancing the mind/body connection in preparation for performance or daily practice. After completing the routine, many students have described a feeling of "energized calm" in their bodies and voices.

CHAIR YOGA
Singers and performers spend a considerable amount of time sitting in rehearsals, make-up, auditions, master classes, while traveling and even on stage. Sitting for long periods of time before singing can decrease circulation in the body. Practicing these chair yoga poses while seated can help maintain or even increase the energy in the body, thus maintaining vocal energy.

YOGA BREATH
Essential for any vocalist, pranayama (yoga breathing techniques) may be added to a practice regime with little effort, yet the results are amazingly effective. Depending on the need of the practitioner, breathwork can be done to cool and relax a tense body, or to warm up and energize prior to a performance.

YOGA KRIYAS
The section entitled Yoga Kriyas introduces new wellness techniques for the performing artist. The Kriyas are presented in an easy to understand format and leave the viewer able to incorporate the immune enhancing techniques into their daily routine. Yoga kriyas are invaluable to the performer/singer as they may enhance the body’s response in key areas such as stress and sinus relief.

YOGA FOR SLEEP
Many singers have difficulty sleeping after an exciting performance or rehearsal. Achieve a good night's sleep, or wind down after a performance with these easy to do, effective poses.
